Admission to B.Tech programmes in PES University, Bangalore, is through PESSAT/KCET exam. Candidates can take PESSAT/ KCET/ both (if eligible) and participate through counseling to compete for a merit seat based on PESSAT/ KCET rank.

PESSAT is a National level entrance exam whereas KCET is a state level exam.
