You need to be familiar with the syllabus of BA Political Science. According to the e-prospectus available at: http://jnu.ac.in/admission/JNU%20Prospectus%202019-20.pdf , you need to be prepared in 3 Units. They are:

Unit 1:

Social and Political Thought of Modern India

Western Political Thought

Concepts and Approaches in Political Theory

Unit 2:

Constitutions and Political Institutions of India

State and Politics in India

Political Processes and Public Policies in India

Unit 3:

Comparitive Government and Policies in India

International Relations

Firstly understand the syllabus and exam pattern of jnu ma political science like

  1. Political Theory and Thought
  2. Comparative Politics and Political Analysis
  3. Indian Government and Politics
  4. Bureaucracy and Public Administration
  5. International Relations

Then update your general knowledge and current affairs,study post colonial and contemporary political affairs, pay more attention to context of india, work on your writing skills and practice more and more previous years papers.
