To get admission in UG courses you have to fill the online form. for this, you have to go the following link. As the registration starts from 3.05.2019. Keep an eye on the website too. Currently, the PG admission form filling is going on.

University Of Madras is situated in Chennai in Tamil Nadu state of India. Established in 1969, and it is affiliated to University of Madras. b'University Of Madras', Chennai offers 126 courses across 14 streams namely Arts, Management, Law, Commerce & Banking, Engineering, Education, Performing Arts, Vocational, Media & Mass Communication, Science, IT, Medical, Pharmacy, Paramedical and across 11 degrees like MSc, M.Phil, MA, PGD, MD.Hostel facility is not available for its students. b'University Of Madras' accepts TANCET - Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test - MBA for admission into Engineering courses.

Hi Ameena,

For getting admission in Madras university, you have to apply and fill the online form for the courses offered by the university.

You have to upload all the scanned documents , pay the application fees and submit the form.

The MBA  and MCA admission is offered on the basis of TANCET.

For M.Sc admission you have to give the entrance.

For the diploma and PG admission, it is merit based.

For pH.d admission , you have to give written exam followed by interview.

If you want to get admission for Bachelor , it is completely based on the TANCET conducted by Dre Tamil Nadu. So, you have to apply for this first.

Then, go to the official website of Madras university and fill the application form.

Basic Admission Criteria

MA/ M.Sc (except for certain specializations)/ M.Li.I.Sc: Marks in the last qualifying degree

Certain specialization of MA/ M.Sc and M.Ed/ Master in Journalism/ M.Com/ Master of Law: Entrance Test+ Merit in last qualifying degree

M.Phil/ Ph.D.: Entrance Test+ Interview
