Zakir Hussain College of Engineering and Technology (ZHCET) is an integral institute of Aligarh Muslim University. The college was founded in the year 1938 under the prestigious Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). ZHCET offers 29 undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in distinct streams of engineering, technology, and architecture.

Admission to the B.Tech program is based on the performance of the candidate in the AMU Engineering Entrance Examination conducted annually, and the rank secured subsequently in the examination. Depending on the results of this examination, a merit list is prepared and the selected candidates are intimated regarding the details of the admission process.

So for undergraduate courses only AMU EEE is considered, the exam would be held in the specified centres on 26 May but last date for filling application form is first week of May.
