Yes they have shifted to new campus and they have shifted recently. This  IIT is among the new generation IITs, and the first batch has graduated this year, i.e., 2020 amidst lockdown. There is a dedicated career development cell (CDC) which works on the lines of internships and placements. This year almost 80% of the students got placed during on-campus placement season with an average salary package of 8 LPA. Some of the students have bagged pre-placement offers in companies like Nasdaq, etc. It is expected the average salary package offered to students will increase over the years as our IIT grows in terms of age and students intake. Professors here are helpful and well qualified in their respective fields. Since IIT Bombay is the mentor institute, there are visiting professors to this college from IIT B as well. Courses of the first year are well designed and help in a smooth transition from high school to engineering.Some of the professors are from IIT Bombay and most of them are retired or on the verge of retirement(experience does matter ). They follow the exact same curriculum of IIT Bombay. In other words, the students here get the same education as the student of IIT Bombay.

Dear Student,

IIIT Dharwad is a fairly new college and has been been established in 2015. It had been functioning off of a transit campus in an IT park in Hubli. However it has shifted to its brand new campus as of October 2020.

in regards to its faculty, they have a good panel of faculty who are well versed with their subjects and help students in all their academic needs.

On grounds of placement, as the institution is new they are still building and establishing their placement cell, however placements are quite good and the package salary offered to students is good too.
