Both universities are good in there own scenarios. 

If you need to opt for Computer Science Engineering branch then you can go with VIT.

According to me, it is more preferable as compared to JECRC university.

If you have a choice in these two then you surely must opt for VIT as it is a well known and established brand while JECRC university is just a few years old and trying to build a reputation closer to their college. 

Moreover the CS branch of VIT has a lot more to offer to an individual.
