Jadavpur University produces students with great academic and professional skills which always help them to get proper placements. Various core companies and also non core companies visits jadavpur university to incruit students from different departments. 

Placement of 2018 batch is very good. In the college Chemical Engineering placement is next to computer Science. Far better placement than Mechanical. UOP Honeywell, Vendant Resources, Carin India, L&T, Reliance Petroleum, Bharat petroleum, Haldia Petroleum, HSBC Bank, ZS Associates, Actors India Limited etc. Company placed almost 100% of batch Strength, Some students got double, triple, tetra packages. The highest amount of package is 18LPA.
