Hi, so basically cyber/network security is great field to pursue and it is definitely going to be very big field in coming years. To tell you the truth, cyber security has no doubt great salary packages. However you shouldn't totally be dependent in in-campus placements. Since, cyber security is not as big for now in our country. Also there are less companies with big salary packages. If you are pursuing cyber security then you should be prepared for some difficulties since there is a good chance that you'd have to apply for jobs off-campus.

So I'd suggest you to be really good at your field and then be confident and apply for jobs.

You can do some certifications like Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification that'd help you in getting you your dream job.
