Hello Sipun, There are a total of 23 IITs in india at the moment. Some of the IITs are fairly new to the scene so they might not have the same impact as the old ones. Talking about the seat matrix of IIT bhubaneswar, there are total 419 seats(including the B.Tech and M.Tech seats). There are only 6 branches of engineering in IIT Bhubaneswar.
