one person can write the JEE mains 3 attempts and one thing from this year they have made that per year one person can write for twice so that total number of times you can write is 6 times in three years

From Next year onwards NTA will give the right to every candidate to sit in the entrance exam for 3 times in which every time it consist of 2 attempts. So overall you should have 6 attempts for writing the JEE mains entrance exam and for the JEE Advanced you have the 2 attempts for writing it overall.
