We cannot tell you the exact percentage that is  required for admission in Fargusson collage for Bsc biotechnology or Bsc microbiology but we look at the past year trends then having a percentage somewhere around 85%–90%can get you seat in this college with the concerned course considering you are a non Maharashtra candidate. The same required percentage will be around 75% to 80% if you belongs to Maharashtra. While saying this I am considering you a general candidate, as you have not mentioned any category.

Please not that these percentage can vary as cutoff depends on various factors like difficulty level of paper, availability of seats and number of candidates appearing in the exam or applied for the admission.

B.Sc. Biotechnology is a bachelor level Biotechnology course. Duration of this course is 3-years long and its syllabus is divided into 6-semesters. Biotechnology is a area of applied biology that include the use of living organisms and bio-processes in technology, engineering, medicine and other scope requiring by-products. Also it may be provided on part-time or full-time basis by various institutes. Candidates after complete this course they have many job opportunities in various fields.
The Department of Microbiology is housed in a separate building with a total area of 40,000 sq. ft. The department houses a staff room, three well equipped laboratories, one class rooms, computer laboratory and a separate departmental library.
