I guess about 1 lakh people are called for counselling.They have 4 brances in total.Vellore,Chennai,AP and bhopal.Naturally there intake is more.Campuses are good now you will have to see if you are getting  a good course in the best suited branch.Yes there faculty to student ratio is not great but the college life is amazing here in vit .Placement packages are exquisite.If you have a good cv and cgpa,you have a sorted life here!
