For current year, VIT has decided to give admission to candidates on the basis of merit. Depending upon branch wise percentage cutoff, there will be 2-3 rounds of selection process to fill the available seat matrix.

It is hard to say accurately as it is a new process. If your 12th percentage is above distinction then for sure you will get admission. For top branch, top bar percentage range will be considered. Round 1 percentage bar may get lowered in successive rounds to fill the seats.
