Hi Rakshita,

NIFT has mentioned the following reservation criteria for 2,010 seats of B. Design programmes –

 

  • Scheduled Category- 15%
  • OBC-Non Creamy Layer- 27%
  • Scheduled Tribe- 7.5%
  • Differently abled Person- 3%
  • Foreign National/ SAARC/ NRI candidates (Supernumerary)- 15%
  • State Domicile (Supernumerary)- 20%

 

From this, you can calculate the total number of seats to be allocated to candidates belonging to general category.
