There are approx 30,000 government MBBS seats through NEET.

15% government college seats are filled through all india quota counselling (Except J&K state government college seats) and rest are filled trough individual state level counselling based on NEET merit.

 AIIMS and JIPMER conduct their own entrance exam to fill their respective seats.
