I will try to briefly throw light on MBBS seats in India (https://www.findmyadmission.com/) . The latest update in 2020 is as followed. Total number of colleges teaching MBBS in India are :- 536.
The total Number of seats in India are :-79,498.
Yes, MBBS Admission through management/NRI quota (https://www.findmyadmission.com/mbbs-admission-through-management-quota/) is available in India. The Admission occurs in 3 phases.
1st round counselling of State private medical colleges, Government medical colleges and Deemed medical colleges of India.
2nd round counselling of State private medical colleges, Government medical colleges and Deemed medical colleges of India.
Mop-up round counselling of State private medical colleges, Government medical colleges and Deemed medical colleges of India.
- Note:- direct mbbs admission (https://www.findmyadmission.com/) or MBBS Admission through management quota is only possible in Private and Deemed Medical colleges of India.
- Government medical colleges only Provide Nri quota seats not management quota mbbs admission.
- The management and Nri quota mbbs admission is possible only in the last phase of counselling. I.e the Mop-up Round.
