Hello shubham,

In general, lecture and practical timings in any engineering colleges is between 8am to 6pm and mnit is no acception.
However you have to study for your semester syllabus,make assignments,lab work etc in times other than class timings.
Therefore one can say that an engineer's life is very busy .But if you really want to prepare for other examinations like upsc then you will have to make a strict time table and stick to it.
