The sharing of rooms is not something which is fixed it may vary every year depending on the student input and availability.

Yes, the hostel rooms are quadruple sharing with two bunker (one on the top of other) beds. Till 3rd year students are alloted with sharing rooms and in 4 th year you can apply for single occupancy room. the hostel fee for Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University, Coimbatore is around 45,000 to 50,000 INR  with 45,000 mess charges and some security (one time payment) deposit.
