The cut off scores for NEET-UG entrance is subject to change every year since a lot depends on the level of difficulty of the question paper and how many students end up with a good score.
The cut off scores may shoot up higher next year or may drop down on the score board. Nothing in particular can be mentioned with absolute clarity unless the examination for the year 2018 is conducted successfully.
Nonetheless, you must aim for a score above 570 to keep yourself on a safer side.

Hello Prabhat, As per your query about marks cutoff.. I would like to tell you it varies very year... It depends on lots of factors like difficulty level of paper and number of students getting that mark etc... It also depends on.. It will be different for Government, Private and Deemed medical colleges.... Also it will differ you applying from All india quota 15% or State quota 85%... Cut off of state quota is usually lower than all india quota.... Now in each of these quota its further divided into categories like OPEN/SC/ST/OBC..... Etc..

BUT GOING BY PREVIOUS YEAR TREND A MBBS SEAT is obtained around 480 - 650 marks range..

Hello Prabhat,

The competition increases every year, and the cutoff vary, the score to make it into government college would also vary based on domicile, cast etc. If you could give us the details we could tell you what score you should be aiming at.

As of now without the details you should aim for a score above 560. A score of 600 is great and will help you get a government seat without a questions.

Goodluck.

Hope this helps.

Hello dear,

Since I've no idea about your category or state you're from I'm afraid I can't specify my answer but a vague idea can be used and if you get  score around 590 or so then it might be a safe score to get MBBS in  government college in open merit.

Thanks

Hi Prabhat Ranjan,

Different marks are needed for different category and state.

The criteria varies year to year, state to state, category to category. So nothing much can be said in this regard clearly.

For a safe zone, I suggest you to score 600+ marks in NEET to get admission in any govt college in any state for a general category students. For a reserved category students, Marks less then the above mentioned score might help you to grab a MBBS seat in Govt college.

Hope this information helps you out,

All the Best.

Dear Ranjan
It's definitely 600 and more than that  because of huge participation, it's came like that. And also if you're from obc/sc/st it would be added advantage to you but give your best in exam. Don't depend on remaining terms.
All the best.
