Its not free. You need to pay to appear for the exam. 

  • JEE Main Application Fee (single paper) General Male – INR 1000 (OFFLINE)
  •  for SC/ST/PWD General Female – INR 500 (OFFLINE)
  • JEE Main Application Fee (single paper) General Male – INR 500 (ONLINE)
  •  for SC/ST/PWD General Female – INR 250 (ONLINE)
  • JEE Main Application Fee (Both paper) General Male – INR 1800 (OFFLINE)
  •  for SC/ST/PWD General Female – INR 900 (OFFLINE)
  • JEE Main Application Fee (Both paper) General Male – INR 1300 (ONLINE)
  •  for SC/ST/PWD General Female – INR 650 (ONLINE)
