There is no use of JEE mains examination to get B.tech admission in SRM University. It is a private university and therefore, it conduct it's own entrance exams for admission in B.tech courses. The Entrance exam is called SRMJEE. So, in order to get admission in SRM University, you have to clear the SRMJEE.

In order to get CSE branch in SRM ktr campus, you have to get a rank of within 10K in SRMJEE. And you class 12th percentage must not be lower than 60%.
