In Delhi University, there is a reservation of CW category i.e. for the Children and Widow of the eligible Armed Forces Personnel. The CW Category students are entitled to a 5% of the seats in each course offered by Delhi University.

The Academic Council has given the following guidelines on order of priorities for admission to CW category students-

• Widows or Wards who martyred in action.
• Wards of serving personnel  and ex-servicemen who were disabled in action.
