Hello!

The NEET cutoff for government medical colleges in both 85% state counseling quota and 15% all india quota, for OBC is just 5-8 less than that of the cutoff for General students. The qualifying cutoff for OBC category in NEET 2020 was 117-146 just 1 mark less than the general category cutoff.

This year, the cutoffs have increased enormously as two students scored 720/720 for the first time. And the increased no.of candidates just worsened the rank inflation. So, you cannot expect the OBC NEET cutoff for government college to be anywhere less than 550 in state counseling and less than 600 for All India counseling(for college like AIIMS). So, a NEET score of around 570+ in OBC category will be considered the safest to secure a seat in a government medical college in state counseling itself.
