Placement is good at bhubneswar as it is the capital city and have all the facilities such that the officials don't have to make extra up and down to other colleges.
On part of placement, IIIT is a one of the recognized institute so getting companies like Microsoft is obvious. And those companies have high salary packages.
On the real part is the students have to work hard to crack that post which will only be done with lots of practice. Without practice you can't make a single move as those questions needs to be solve with tricks and has to be optimised.
So if also join and make all your concepts strong and good at coding then yes you can also get an job in those companies.
