Shiv Nadar University offers admission into BTech courses through an entrance examination called SNUUSAT. The admission is done based on the candidates performance in the entrance examination and his or her performance in the intermediate examination. The aggregate of SNUSAT and board's marks is different for various educational boards.

In addition to this some percentage of seat is also offered based upon JEE main scores.
