The eligibility criteria for MSc Food Technology is passed bachelor's degree in the field of science/engineering/agriculture/technology or its equivalent from a recognized university securing 50% aggregate(this may vary depending upon the norms of the college), the admission process varies among colleges it can be merit based or done through entrance test such as conducted by Maharishi Dayanand University, Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Central Food Technology Research Institute to name a few,
