Hello Ishan,

Follow the steps for scoring 150+

  • Do questions from Arihant books
  • First pick up a topic. Do not try to learn everything at the same time.
  • Make your concept in any subject crystal clear. Try to understand the topic as deep as possible as then only you will be able to implement properly without committing any conceptual mistake. An another benefit of this approach will be like you can create your own tips & tricks/shorcuts to approach a problem.
  • If you study something a number of times but still fail to understand the concept, then in all probability you are not enjoying the topic. It is very important for JEE preparation that whatever concepts your study should be strong, otherwise you will face problems while solving questions as all the questions asked in JEE are application based. More importantly, the stronger your concepts, the more you will enjoy studying the latter topics.

Mathematics:

  1. Make sure you can solve problems from the NCERT class XI and class XII textbooks.
  2. For best concepts, use IIT Mathematics for JEE (Main and Advanced) by M.L. Khanna
  3. For the most abundant supply of difficult questions: New Pattern IITJEE Mathematics by Dr. S.K. Goyal
  4. Plane Trigonometry and Elements of Coordinate Geometry by S.L. Loney

Physics:

  1. Concepts of Physics, Volumes 1 and 2, by H.C. Verma
  2. Problems in General Physics, by I.E. Irodov
  3. Fundamentals of Physics , by Halliday, Resnick, and Walker
  4. Understanding Physics for JEE Main and Advanced (series), by D.C. Pandey

Chemistry:

  1. Study the NCERT chemistry textbooks for classes XI and XII.
  2. Organic Chemistry, by Morrison and Boyd
  3. Numerical Chemistry for JEE Main and Advanced, by P. Bahadur
  4. Concise Inorganic Chemistry, by J.D. Lee
  5. Modern Approach to Chemical Calculations, by R.C. Mukherjee
  6. Physical Chemistry, by P. Bahadur.

And if books are not helping then try online test practice . It will help you to identify your weaker area and at the same time it will increase your accuracy level as well.
