The NEET cut off for the general category in Karnataka for 2024 is 720-162. The Hyderabad-Karnataka region is eligible for a 7% reservation in the state medical colleges.

Eligibility for Karnataka state quota

  • To be eligible for a government seat, the candidate must have passed Class 11 and Class 12 from a Karnataka-based institute.
  • Either the candidate or one of their parents must have studied in Karnataka for seven years.
  • The candidate or one of their parents' mother tongue must be Kannada, Tulu, or Kodava.

Hyderabad-Karnataka region

  • The Hyderabad-Karnataka region includes the districts of Bidar, Gulbarga, Raichur, and Yadgirellary.
  • 70% of the seats in colleges in this region are reserved for local candidates.

Karnataka NEET merit list

  • The Karnataka Education Authority releases the NEET merit list for the state.
  • The merit list includes details such as the candidate's name, roll number, qualifying status, and NEET exam details.
