Diploma holders can apply if the course is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and is of minimum 3 years duration. They will however, be admitted to the first year of the course as there is no provision for lateral entry at the IITs .

Hello!

For diploma holders to appear in JEE Advanced, they have to apply for JEE Main 2020. But their rank & score in JEE Main will not be considered for admission in NITs & CFTIs.
