i wish to pursue diploma on basis of 12 th am i eligible for JEE advanced

A candidate is eligible to give JEE if he/she is currently pursuing 12th standard or is in the final year of Diploma. A candidate can give JEE Mains for the next two years as well while a candidate can give JEE Advanced for the next year as well. However there is no lateral entry provision in IITs and NITs. A candidate will be given admission in 1st year only.
