Looking at the overall reviews of RMLNLU, the students have satisfactory reactions as far as academics, fee structure and other facilities are concerned but just like any other Government institute, the college doesn't provide any internships options and most students have to use their references to bag an internship. Also there is an internship and placement cell who is run solely by the students and is allocated funds by the university. Detailed placements statistics are uploaded on the offical college website and most students prefer to litigate. In the year 2017-2018, out of 40 students who appeared for corporate interview, some 25 odd students were selected. Others usually get hired by NGO's, law firms, corporate think tanks etc and the pay scale depends on the candidates merit and interview results. Some of the frequently visited companies are-

On the other hand GNLU is one of the premier National Law University with an excellent faculty, infrastructure and other facilities like gym, state of the art library etc.The scope of extra curricular activity is also very high in the university.The intenship commitee run by students also work extra hard to get internships for students and get some form of commission from the company. The highest  salary package is 14 lakh and on an average the package is 7 lakh. Some of the frequently visited companies are-
