NLU Lucknow Admission Process

Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow offers admissions to students who meet the eligibility criteria and fill the online application form from the official website of the university. After filling the application form, candidates must follow the prescribed steps of admission. RMLNLU Lucknow admissions to the UG and PG courses are done on the basis of CLAT and CLAT PG scores respectively. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the university.
From the official website, candidates can download the application form.
Candidates must fill the application form with all the correct details.
Along with the details, candidates must also attach self-attested photocopies of the supporting documents.
After filling the form, students must pay the RMLNLU Lucknow application fee.
Candidates must keep a copy of the payment receipt.
The last step is submitting the application form.

RMLNLU Lucknow Admissions - UG and PG Courses

The university offers one course at each level. B.A LLB is offered at the UG level and L.L.M is offered at the PG level. The duration of the two courses is 5 and 1 year, respectively.

RMLNLU Lucknow UG and PG Courses Admission Process

Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria.
Eligible candidates must fill the online application form.
Along with this, applicants also have to appear for the CLAT for B.A L.L.B Hons and B.B.A L.L.B Hons and CLAT PG for L.L.M.
The university releases the cut-off for both the exams.
Candidates meeting the cutoff have to participate in the CLAT counselling.
Candidates who meet the cut-off must appear for the counselling session and select RMLNLU Lucknow as their preference for college during the choice filling.
The allotment of CLAT seats is made on the basis of the rank of the candidate and the college preferences of the candidate.
To confirm their seats, the candidate will have to pay the NLU Lucknow fees and complete admission formalities.

RMLNLU Lucknow Doctoral Admissions

The university offers only one course at the doctoral level i.e Ph.D Law. It is offered for a duration of 6 years.

RMLNLU Lucknow Ph.D Law Admission Criteria

Candidates seeking RMLNLU Lucknow Ph.D admissions, must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria.
Eligible candidates have to apply for admission by filling the National Law University Lucknow application form.
Applicants have to appear for the National Level Entrance Test conducted by the university.
The Written Test shall consist of 70 marks. The Question Paper will consist of Objective Type Questions. 50% questions will be on Research Methodology and 50% shall be on the main Subject Specific.
Candidates have to secure at least an aggregate of 50% in the entrance test to qualify the entrance test.
Candidates who clear the entrance test are called for an interview.
Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the test and interview.
Verification of documents and payment of the RMLNLU Lucknow admission fee is the last step of admission.

The curriculum provided by the college has been designed in a judicious manner. It has been designed keeping in mind all the necessary academic requirements of a law student. A variety of subjects are taught to the students and after 4th year they have the opportunity to specialize in the subject of their choice.

Academics

Neither the teachers are interested in giving lectures nor the students are interested in attending the same. However, if a student wants to study on his own he gets ample time do to that. The teachers though may not teach but are considerate if you have any doubt in any subject.

what is maximum marks in clat required for this college

Hello aspirant,

Under the new design, the total number of questions in CLAT 2024 has decreased from 150 to 120. The total CLAT cut-offs for 2024 will be affected by this. Up until last year, a score of 100+ (66%) on the CLAT exam was regarded as an excellent score. But that isn't the case this year. Because it can be quite challenging to earn 100 points, the CLAT cut-off marks will drop.

How to Apply for R.M.N.L.U. in the course of BA LLB 2022?

Dear Akriti,

Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University is one of the twenty two universities that take admission based on Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).

To apply for the BA LLB Course for 2022, you must have successfully qualified for CLAT 2022. Once you get the result, you can apply for counselling with the CLAT consortium after paying the requisite fees. Make sure to keep preference for RMNLU high. If you get through the counselling successfully you'll have to pay the fees to enroll in RMNLU.

If you do not get an NLU in the CLAT counselling, the counselling fees will be refunded.
