Hi Naveen, you are an Indian if you follow any of these:

Citizenship by birth: if you were born in India

Citizenship by descent: if you were born on or after 10th December 1992 outside of India but were born to either parent who is Indian citizen

Then there are Citizanship by registration and  naturalization. If you fall under any of the mentioned categories, then you should opt Indian as your nationality. However if you donot fall under these categories, please do let me know and Ill explain it further. Good Luck!

I was born in India,and I studied in India till 6th grade.So I can opt Indian as my nationality in NEET-2019 APPLICATION FORM right? Thanks for responding to my question.

Dear Priyaanka Sarkar, My cousin studied 13 years in kenya, but his passport status is of INDIA and born in INDIA,by mistake we selected foreign nationality instead of Indian or NRI. which one should we select or do we get an option to edit it .how to edit .please help
