1st case: if you don't have domicile of Karnataka, then you need to apply for 15% AIQ for govt colleges.

2nd case: if you have domicile of Karnataka: then you can enter through 85% quota from Neet state councelling.

3rd case: if you are interested in Pvt colleges ( under COMEDK),Then just their form separately, they do consider Neet marks now.

Hope it helped.

All the best.

Hey Rashi,

15% seats are reserved for the All India Quota seats whose counselling will be done by Medical Counselling Committee.

The remaining 85% seats are allotted to state quota government colleges as well as private dental colleges whose counselling is done by Committee of Karnataka Examination Authority.

Admission to 14 Medical and 25 dental colleges will be organized by COMEDK.

  • If you are interested in joining any of the 14 Colleges that come under COMEDK, then you may fill the form or else you can opt for Colleges in Karnataka through AIQ.

  • All the Best!

There are 2 things:
1) For admission into government medical colleges of karnataka: you don't have to fill any other form separately. You can either avail admission via All India 15 % quota through your merit or you can contest for the 85% state quota seats if you have the domicile certificate of karnataka state.
2) for admission into private medical colleges of karnataka: institutions like Manipal and colleges under COMED-K are now considering NEET-UG scores for admissions into their colleges. But you need to fill a separate application form along with your NEET-UG application form. Forms for these colleges should be out this month or in the month of May. Please check their website for more information.

There are 2 pools of seats available in NEET UG EXAM

  • 15% All india Quota open for all
  • 85%. State Quota (open to only domicile of that state)

  • As far as your interest in Karnataka Colleges is concerned kindly fill up the forms when to they come to be eligible for councelling whch will be again based on your NEET UG score.

Hope your query is addressed.
