Hello Birva,
Your category rank is pretty good ,
And yes there is fair chance of getting admission into any nits or iiits.
It is far better to take admission in NITs/IIITs than a private college.
Do visit the above link for the probable colleges that you can get according to your rank,.

So your percentile is around 90-92, it's totally clear that you have a fair chance of getting into an NIT, as you have so many quotas, like girl child quota, SC quota and if you try for NIT Nagpur, you will also get home state quota. So please do try NIT as these college degrees would be a little more better than government college one's.
Hope it helps.

Hi aspirant
Let me tell you that NITs/IITs are India's most premier institute for engineering.
Everyone who wants to pursue engineering as his/her carrier dreams of being in NITs/IITs.
Also, there placement ratio is also very good.
So, it is worth joining NITs/IIITs.
But remember all NITs/IIITs are not much good enough, for Top/Best college you need to secure a good rank.
So, I would suggest you to participate in the jossa counseling process and look for the college which suits you best according to your rank.

Sir, Thanks for your suggestion. I have applied at the Jossa & awaiting round 2 & thereafter. Results of MHA CET too are awaited at 3rd July onwards. Selection of said Maharashtra or National colleges would be dicey & your suggestion are most valuable. Should I prefer local Engg colleges over National is important at this crutial moment. Please guide ?Regards
