It would have been appreciable if you had told your state of eligibility. The chances of getting NIT is fairly good, but getting a decent branch in decent NIT is not very likely. You can get North-Eastern NITs for low demand branch. Also If you are getting any reservation quota you can get even a tier-II NIT.
