It would have been appreciable if you had told your state of eligibility. The chances of getting NIT is fairly good, but getting a decent branch in decent NIT is not very likely. You can get North-Eastern NITs for low demand branch. Also If you are getting any reservation quota you can get even a tier-II NIT. I would suggest you check for cutoffs of NITs like Hamirpur, Jalandhar(if eligible for Home State) and newer NITs like Puducherry, Sikkim, Manipur,etc. Check cutoffs of previous year here https://josaa.nic.in/webinfocms/Handler/FileHandler.ashx?i=File&ii=137&iii=Y
