Dear Aspirant,

Both the things are totally different, Gap Affidavit and Character certificate. You have to get the Gap Affidavit by own from any governmental office better if you contact to a lawyer if you have the gap in your education time. And that certificate they need at the time of admission so you have to create a new.

And for Character certificate, that one will provided by the school from you have studied and that certificate have lifetime eligible to take admission in any college, there is no need to renew character certificate.
