These days IT companies like Infosys, TCS and many more provide options to students from any background to participate in their placement drive. Only condition is that they need to know coding for any coding position.

They conduct tests and round and if you succeeded in those rounds you are good to go and you will be placed in that company.

The degree these days is just a random thing. They require one to truly have skills and they test them at the time of interview.
