I understand that you belong to the state of Karnataka and that you belong to a community that has been awarded the status of OBC by the Government of Karnataka and so to answer your question, you would be eligible to appear for any national examination as an OBC quota candidate only if your community has been recognised as an OBC category community by the Central Government of India and also that the same is mentioned in the Central Government's List of OBC Castes.
