In order to apply for Karnataka state counselling, you need to have a domicile certificate of Karnataka state only. Also, you will have to undergo an entrance exam of Kannada language conducted by KEA an score minimum 12 marks. Your parents should have studied in Karnataka for minimum 7 years and should have domicile of Karnataka.

Also, if you are from Maharashtra, and trying to appear for Karnataka state counseling, note that you cannot apply for any reserved category seat since you do not belong to Karnataka unless you produce a domicile certificate of Karnataka.
