As u say that ur score is 279 nd u r from SC category nd also from tamil nadu so according to last year's cutoff yes congratulations u can get a medical nd a dental college as well that yes there is less chance for medical college but surely u will get dental college which will be govt.

Congratulations on scoring 279 marks .

Last year the cut off for Government college for MBBS in SC category was 239 that too in Rajah Muthiah Medical College , Annamalainagar.

And the cut for BDS in Government college was 535 .

The cut off this year is expected to increase by 15-30 marks ,but you have a good chance of getting a government mbbs seat .
