As you are from Uttar Pradesh, I am sorry to let you know that you are not eligible for WBJEE.

The domicile critera for WBJEE states that you should have been a permanent resident of West Bengal for 10 consecutive years as on December 31, 2021.

You are also considered eligible if your parents are permanent residents of the state with a permanent residential address.

However , if you don't fulfill the above criteras then you cannot appear for WBJEE.

To be eligible for WBJEE, there are some domicile rules like the candidate should have been a permanent resident for the state I.e. West Bengal for at least 10 consecutive years as on December 31 of the year of examination or if their parents are permanent residents of the state with a permanent residential address. Now if you don't fulfil this criteria, you can still apply for WBJEE but there are only a few seats allotted for other state candidates. And after qualifying Wbjee, if you appear for the counselling you'll only eligible for those seats which are allotted for outside state candidates. To be elligible for For WBJEE 2021, the candidates are required to be of Indian nationality.

Coming to the conditions based on the Domicile, they are as below:

• Should have been a permanent resident of West Bengal for 10 consecutive years as on December 31, 2021.

• Candidates will also be considered eligible if their parents are permanent residents of the state with a permanent residential address.

So unless you satisfy the above conditions, I am sorry to say that you will not be eligible to appear for the exam.
