You need to join good coaching institution like PACE/Rao IIT/Akash etc for Jee Advanced preparation.

You need to focus well on Jeemain exam first and once you qualify onky tgen you can appear Jee Advanced which is must for IIT Kharagpur  

For Jee Advanced one must study from NCERTbooks and reference books like HC Verma for physics , op Tandon for Chemistry   RD sharma for Mathematics . Solve maximum mock exams and scrutinize weak areas and focus accordingly  

Ranks within 8000 in General category in Jee Advanced have good chances with IIt Kharagpur.

You are in class 10th so it's very important that you should also focus on you 10th studies.claas 10th helps you in basic concepts .basics are very important .

1) learn deeply ,do not mug up the thing.

2)start your learning deeply from the basics.

3)give exam calm and cool

4)now itself try to solve some high level problems .

5)be clear about the syllabus and their preparation timing in your daily .

6)spend 3-4hours for your preparation .

7)prepare last year iit papers .

8)do not let off your 10th class academic too

9)online test are available in internet .try to answer that kind of questions.

10) if you are comfortable to go to coaching class , start from in your 10th class.
