Hello Aspirant,

No you will be eligible for NEET UG 2023 but you will be eligible for NEET UG 2024.

Because as per the current eligibility criteria candidate appearing for class 12th can appear for NEET UG examination or the candidate who has already passed the class 12th examination can appear so in 2023 you would start your class 12th and you will be appearing for class 12th examination in 2024 so your first attempt of NEET UG would be in 2024.

For NEET UG eligibility criteria is given below :

** You must have passed/appearing for 10+2 from any recognized central/state board.

** English should also be in your curriculum of class 12th and also you should have passed in it.

** You minimum age should be more that or equal to 17 years by December 31st 2024, as per the current eligibility criteria.

** As of now there is no upper age limit for NEET but the case is pending in Hon'ble SC and by 2024 if the verdict comes then the upper age limit may be decided and it can be either 25 or as decided by SC.
