The only way to get better at mathematics is practice, practice and more practice. Theory isn't going to help you much, as the problems will be based on application on the theory taught to you. NCERT, and NCERT exemplar problems are two books, which you should definitely solve completely, to be able to get confidence.

please ask clearly what you want to ask . your question is quite unclear . if you want  to get admissions in bit mesra then you have to clear the entrance exam conducted for that particular stream. yes maths is quite tough infact the toughest portion of the entrance exam .for getting into be/b tech you have to clear jee mains
