Dear Sumiran, your Leaving Certificate will act las an alrernative to a Gap certificate for NEET. If you have joined any particular course inorder to avoid any break, then the Leaving Certificate from the concerned College will help. A Gap certificate is for those candidates who have not joined any course. But leaving certificate is for candidates who have joined a course. So both of them are valid.

Thank you for your invaluable help. You surely boosted up my morale. But just to be on the safe side of it are you completely sure about this. Because I had some counselors look into this matter and they had reported that the current NEET rules do not have any specific rules about this. It only has clear guidelines for GAP certificate. I know this might sound dumb but please help reinforce my decision.

Infact not every State insists on Gap certificate/Leaving certificate. And these certificates are a formality to confirm that the Candidate is not absconding midway from any Institution and hasnt been involved in any criminal offense. Thats it
