no you are not eligible for jee but you r eligible for ECET and even mcet also .

Yes, you can appear in JEE to get admission in NITs and IITs. NITs and IITs don't provide lateral entry. so, you have to qualify the exam to take admission in 1st year of engineering.

1- You should refer NCERT books for your preparation. Make sure your basics are clear. Don't use much reference books. You can use good recommended books for your preparation.
