The minimum eligibility criterion required for the candidates is to possess a Bachelor's degree in English or relevant discipline from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate score of 60%. Admission to MA English is done on the basis of entrance tests. so you can do it either form distance mode or from a regular college also.

and yes you are eligible to do masters in engish if you fullfile the requirement.
