Hi, yes you can not do CSIR in Environmental Science but you can appear for UGC NET in Environmental sciences or CSIR NET Earth sciences. It is recommended to appear for same stream as the one you had taken up in your Masters program. UGC NET is preferred if you wish to do your Ph.D. you can get scholarships as well on that.
