I M FROM NON MAHARASHTRA STATE AND WANT ADMISSION UNDER MUMBAI UNIVERSITY FOR BMS COURSE, SO I HAVE TO FILL FORM FOR BOTH MUMBAI UNIVERSITY AND DESIRED COLLEGE AS WELL

Rubina Naseer 21st May, 2025

Hello,

Yes, there are two steps you must take as a non-Maharashtra student hoping to get into Mumbai University's BMS program. First, visit the official Mumbai University website and register and complete the pre-admission online form. All students must complete this step. Secondly, you need to complete the admission form of the particular college where you want to enrol in the BMS course. Colleges may use different forms and requirements for admission. A passport-sized photo, category certificates (if any), and mark sheets should all be prepared. For deadlines and updates, frequently check the websites of the college and university.

MHT CET application form link was available on the official website

my cut off is 176 in which college I get the seat for EC course for MBC

JONAKEE 11th Jun, 2025

With a cutoff of 176 and coming under the MBC category, you have a fair chance of getting into some good colleges for the ECE course. Based on previous trends in TNEA counselling, you might get a seat in colleges like Government College of Technology in Coimbatore, Government College of Engineering in Salem, or the one in Tirunelveli. These are well-known government colleges where ECE is usually available around your range for MBC candidates.

If those are not available or if you are looking closer to Chennai, you might still have the option of joining strong self-financing colleges like Sri Sairam Engineering College, RMK, RMD, Panimalar, or Easwari. These colleges also have good teaching and placement support for ECE students.

Since cutoffs can vary each year depending on the number of students applying and the overall demand, nothing is fully guaranteed, but your chances are definitely strong for both government and top private colleges in Tamil Nadu. If you prefer a specific location, that can also help narrow things down
